Otomi Martial Arts | Caio Terra Association Brazilian Jiu Jitsu would like to congratulate Tammi Musumeci on winning the light-feather division against Amanda Monteiro at the 2019 IBJJF Worlds tournament this past weekend. Additionally, Tammi also made history when her brother Mikey Musumeci also won his division making Tammi and Mikey the first brother and sister to win worlds in the same year.
While so many things stand out about winning an event such as this, nothing seems to compare to the fact that Tammi is also a full time law student and had to get past 3 other previous world champs in her division to win.

We would also like to mention that fellow teammate Kristina Barlaan was also in this division and also made it to the podium! Great work Kristina. We are very happy for you as well and are fortunate to have so many women leading by example for our team!
