This past weekend, on October 19, 2024, our youth competitors stepped onto the mats at the Submission Challenge in Denver and left their mark in spectacular fashion. The level of skill, heart, and determination displayed by these young athletes was nothing short of inspiring.
Olivia Duckett delivered an outstanding performance, walking away with two gold medals, dominating both the Gi and NoGi divisions. Her hard work and dedication were evident in every match, and we couldn’t be prouder of her achievements.
Not to be outdone, Tanner Choi and Jaydien Clark showcased their talent and resilience in their divisions, racking up a collection of medals. Between them, they brought home gold, silver, and bronze across multiple divisions, proving that their dedication to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is paying off.
The Submission Challenge was a true test of skill and endurance, with match after match pushing our athletes to new heights. We are beyond proud of these three young warriors for stepping out of their comfort zones and pushing themselves to excel. They’ve proven that with perseverance and hard work, great things are possible.
For those who may be curious if Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the right fit for you or your family, now is the perfect time to find out. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve fitness, or simply have fun, BJJ offers something for everyone.
