Otomi Martial Arts | Caio Terra Association Brazilian Jiu Jitsu would like to congratulate Mikey Musumeci on his amazing gold medal and historic performance this past weekend at the IBJJF Worlds! This was an especially interesting contest as Mikey dropped a division to get to rooster not to mention that this years rooster weight division was a real doozy with several world champions in the division including Caio Terra and Bruno Malfacine.
Once Mikey won the division, he and his sister, Tammi Musumeci, made IBJJF history by being the first brother sister duo to win the worlds in the same year at black belt! Also, Mikey has now won 3 Black Belt world titles; two in the light-feather division and one in the rooster division (with a record breaking 12 second ankle lock submission).
To say we are honored to know you and have you on our team is an understatement. Congrats you are so deserving!
