CTA Colorado | Otomi Martial Arts | Caio Terra Association Brazilian Jiu Jitsu would like to congratulate our great friend Carlos Capela on his silver medal performance recently at the IBJJF NOGI Pan American Tournament.
Carlos won the semifinals match on his div by 4 advantages with a dominating series of attacks the entire match including kimuras, guillotines and wrist lock. His next match was the final match; which his lost via knee bar that transitioned off a toe hold defense.
Carolos went on to sign up for the open class and lost in the quarter final match against a middle heavy competitor by a score of 2×0.
Carlos plans to continue his Jiu jitsu competitions with the European No-Gi and Rome Open up next on his list! We wish you the best of luck in your martial arts journey as well as thank you for being such a positive role model for the entire Caio Terra Brazilian Jiu Jitsu grappling team.
