Otomi Martial Arts was founded in 2010 by Kim and Ranulfo Gonzalez on the belief that through Jiu-Jitsu / Martial Arts we can make the world a better place.
At CTA Colorado, EVERYONE is welcome! With programs for men, women, and children of all ages and ability levels, we have a program for you.

At CTA Colorado | Otomi martial arts we follow the curriculum and standards set by our founder, 12-time world champion Professor Caio. Professor Caio believes, as we do, that through Jiu-Jitsu, we can make the world a better place.

Something for everyone
At CTA Colorado | Otomi Martial Arts we have a program for everyone. Even if you have never practiced a martial art or participated in any sport for that matter, we warmly welcome you. We can get you started with our fundamental program, where you will learn proper body mechanics and techniques that will build your foundation. When you are ready, we encourage you to participate in our advanced program where you will learn to train and roll against fully resisting opponents.
RANULFO GONZALEZ
A Biography of our Head Instructor/Owner
Ranulfo “Gonzo” Gonzalez is a black belt under Professor Caio Terra. Gonzo is a life long martial artist having started Karate at the age of 10. In 1996 he was introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and was instantly hooked. That same year he also graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a BS in Education. His love for martial arts and teaching led him to become a Karate instructor, and in 2006 he took a hiatus from Jiu-Jitsu to focus on being the best Karate instructor he could be. Whatever you do, do it well!
In 2008, he started training again, and in 2010, he met professor Caio Terra. That same year he would go on to open his own school, Otomi Martial Arts. In 2012, when Professor Caio started the Caio Terra Association, Otomi martial arts was one of the founding members. Today Otomi Martial Arts | CTA Colorado is proud to be a Caio Terra Affiliate. Gonzo loves nothing more than sharing his knowledge with others and changing lives, one student at a time!
